The 5 Reasons I Make Money

Money is needed for life. It is a tool that is necessary to survive, and they say the more you have, the better your life. Now that is highly debatable but that is for another article lol! Now I like money, but it does not rule me. I want to make a lot of money (that is relative I know) but not for the reasons most people do. I don’t want a big house, fancy cars, a lot of clothes or any other material possession that is associated with money. That is not what drives or motivates me. In my quest for wealth, I had to figure out my why and I came up with the five things below.

1. Freedom: I want to do whatever I want when I want. In other words, I want to buy time. Time is the one thing that once you lose it, you can never get back. This is the essence of wealth for most wealthy people I know. They make their own schedule, they take days off when they want to, they travel when they want and so on. They do this these things with no financial stress and live a generally happy life. This is what I want to do. I currently make my own schedule, but the financial stress is still present but I am working on that lol!

2. Control: With freedom comes control. Control over your time. Control over your choices. Control over what you do for a living. Control over your life. Control and very little worry. I want this in my life. If I want to go to a concert across the country in LA at the spur of the moment, I want to be able to do it. If I want to invest in a business with little or no worry, I want the ability and the means to do this. If I just want to…
