5 Things More Important To Me Than Money
In this journey we call life, we should all be growing and evolving. In this evolution and growth, I have figured out what gets me up in the morning, what motivates me and makes life worth living. Most would figure money but in this case, this is not true. Don’t get me wrong, I need money but I put a different value on it than most do. I live a minimalist lifestyle, so material things mean very little to me. I see money as a tool that gives me options and also gives me the ability to help others. It gives me the flexibility I crave and chance to make a difference in people’s lives. So it is needed in order for me to live the life I want to live but it does not rule me. In fact, there are several things that take precedent over money in my life. Let’s discuss.
1. Health. This is definitely more important than money to me. For without good health, I wouldn’t have the ability to make money or enjoy all the things that it brings. I couldn’t live life the way I want because of the constant worrying about my health. Your health is your wealth is a very cliche statement but very true. Ask anybody you know with health issues would they give up every penny they have in order to be healthy and the answer would be a resounding yes. This is because it is easier to regain lost wealth than lost health. Case in point, if you are $50,000 in debt, I can wire you some money and the debt is taken of. But if you are diagnosed with a serious illness or ailment, all I can do is pray for you and wish for the best.
